Teachers - ESL/Japanese, Club Advisors - Yearbook/International Club
Although I grew up in Victoria, BC, I have also lived in Penticton, BC and in the cities of Wakyama, Tokyo and Yokohama, Japan. I graduated from the University of Victoria in 1990 with a BA (Major in Linguistics and Minor in Japanese Studies). After working and traveling in Japan for 4 years, I completed my B.Ed, graduating in 1997. My husband and I moved to the sunniest place in Canada in 1998 and love it here. I especially like the 'big sky', the friendly people and being so close to the Rockies. I have a five old daughter whom I love to take to the large number of parks throughout the city. I enjoy teaching Japanese, Language Arts and Information Processing at the school. I also co-ordinate the 1 year and 2 month exchange programs with Japan. After school, you can often find me working on the yearbook in room 803.
